The final public moments of the EX.TRE.M project unfolded in Larissa, bringing together artists, young participants, and local audiences in a two-day programme of performances and shared experiences. Through theatre, video, and play, the event offered a glimpse into the project’s creative journey and its exploration of intercultural dialogue across Europe.

Day one: P.O.V. – Point of view

The first day opened with P.O.V. – Point of view, a collective performance created by Progetto Amunì / Babel Crew.

Born from the methods and encounters developed throughout the project, P.O.V. explored the tensions and beauty of multilingual, multicultural expression — a living mosaic of voices, bodies, and stories from across Europe’s migratory landscapes.

The performance brought together artists and young participants, turning the stage into a space where different languages and theatrical traditions didn’t just coexist, but actively shaped one another.

Day two: sharing with the community

On the second day, the project opened its doors to the local community of Larissa with a public event.

The audience was invited to discover the creative journey of EX.TRE.M through a screening of video works produced during the project’s workshops and residencies — short films capturing the processes, the people, and the artistic experiments that took shape in each partner’s context.

The event also offered a first taste of the EX.TRE.M card game, one of the project’s tangible outcomes: a tool designed to spark creative exchange and intercultural dialogue through play. Participants had the chance to try it out and experience the project’s methodology in an accessible, hands-on way.

The two days in Larissa marked not just a final gathering, but a moment of reflection on what EX.TRE.M has built over time: a shared space for artistic experimentation, dialogue, and connection across cultures.

From the stage to the screen, and through the simple act of playing together, the project’s outcomes highlighted the power of creative practices to bring people closer, foster mutual understanding, and open new perspectives. While the project may be reaching its final chapter, the relationships, tools, and ideas it generated will continue to travel, evolve, and inspire beyond its duration.
