Orbite di Mercurio is a special section of Mercurio Festival dedicated to the encounter between performing arts, civic engagement, and cultural projects working on participation, inclusion, and social transformation. Conceived as a space for dialogue and cross-pollination, Orbite brings together festivals, networks, institutions, associations, and national and international initiatives to share practices, visions, and experiences capable of generating cultural and social impact within local communities.

PROGRAMME :

• 18:00 – Welcome and registration
• 18:30 – EX.TRE.M Multiplier Event
  Presentation of the Erasmus+ project EX.TRE.M, its objectives, methodologies and results, followed by a
  public discussion on inclusion, artistic practices and international cooperation.
  Speakers :
  • Giuseppe Provinzano – Artistic Director of Babel, Ideator of Progetto Amuni and Mercurio Festival, theatre
    director, playwright and cultural manager. He will present the experience of Babel within EX.TRE.M and
    discuss the role of performing arts in community engagement and social inclusion.
  • Davide Enia – Award-winning playwright, actor and director, internationally recognised for his work
    exploring memory, identity and contemporary social issues through storytelling and theatre.
