The EX.TRE.M project harnesses the power of theater as a tool for social integration and personal growth among young migrants in Europe. Our primary objectives are threefold:

• Enhance the skills of youth and theater workers through a protocol of excellence
  Improve the living conditions of marginalized immigrant youth via artistic experiences
• Promote intercultural dialogue within European society
• To achieve these goals, we will conduct theater workshops with young migrants across partner countries, followed by collaborative sharing sessions.

Our efforts will culminate in three key outputs:

• Video Toolkits showcasing effective methodologies
• A comprehensive Protocol of Excellence for theater companies working with migrants
• An educational documentary summarizing the project’s journey and impact

These resources will be translated into multiple European languages to ensure widespread accessibility. Through these initiatives, EX.TRE.M seeks to elevate the soft skills of theater practitioners, enhance the well-being of participating migrants, and increase the efficacy of theater companies in fostering intercultural understanding. Ultimately, our project aspires to establish a replicable model for migrant youth integration through theatrical art, contributing to a more inclusive and culturally diverse European society.
